I bought the TEKCOOL Portable Mini Sealing Machine mainly to keep chips and snacks fresh, and overall it works pretty well. The device heats up quickly (about a second) and creates a decent seal if you slide it at the right speed. Once sealed, the bags are airtight and food stays crisp longer.
What I like:

The cutter on the back is surprisingly useful for opening packets neatly.
